Update on the F!S Mix Tape Swap

Okay, there's like 8 people who showed interest in this already, so let's do this thing. I'm thinking Friday should be the deadline for signups, and I'll post a reminder on Wednesday since this is a little late in the day.

I have the names of everybody who said they'd join on Friday, but if you want out just let me know, no problem. Anybody who wants to sign up now is welcome to join too!

(Explanation for people who didn't catch the first post: I like mix tapes, other people like mix tapes, let's do an exchange! Give me your username, and I'll pair you up with a random person from the comm so you can make an 8track mix or Spotify playlist or whatever for them. Don't worry if you have no "taste," just pick music you like and think your partner might enjoy!)

I like doing this type of thing completely blind because who knows what awesome crap I might end up passing up just because I said, "well I'm not a super fan of $genre." However, it's totally up to you and your partner if you want to request a genre or something like that, doesn't matter to me.

I'd definitely be cool with people posting the playlists here after the recipient has had a chance to listen.

If you'd like to participate I'm going to need a name of some form, preferably one with some kind of contact ability to it (mostly we've been using journal handles, but alternatively you could post/message me an email address).

I'm in. Though I'm wondering about the ideal number of songs - I wouldn't want to overwhelm someone with a flood of music but too few (like, just the the minimum 8 on 8tracks) are no fun, either.

I didn't want to set a minimum since it might drive people off, but ideally everybody would put together at least a CD's worth of music (about 90 minutes). More is always acceptable, but try to keep it reasonable, where reasonable is up to you but probably should be less than 5 hours.
