I hear ya, OP. The time in my ten years of online fandom that I was the most active was also when I was the most depressed. I can always gauge when I'm starting to get anxious, stressed, or depressed because my tendency to bury myself in a fic archive and just passively read dramatically increases.

People actually compare Snowing to Captain Swan??? They don't share a single similarity, wtf. Snow and Charming are almost unhealthily dependent on each other and would (probably) kill for one another if it came down to it.

Captain Swan is just... Hook being a charismatic but still complete asshole while Emma just wants to be left the fuck alone (and understandably so).

And I hope the show doesn't go the "soulmates/true love" route with Captain Swan because god Hook is above and beyond not close to anything Emma deserves and it'd be a trainwreck. They already did it with Regina and Robin and look what's happened.

Also someone PLEASE tell the writers it's okay to give Hook a different outfit. Does he even bathe? Or wash his clothes? There's no excuse for him not to have changed into modern clothing, especially since he's apparently shacking up with Emma now.

I think I've had something similar happen to me OP, and I want you to know, I know exactly what you mean and that feeling of vindication can feel relatively liberating. Though personally I'd keep the public reveling in it to a minimum.
