I agree with Ezra. I particularly like Ezra/Chris, but I've read stories with Ezra and the other five plus secondary characters too. He really does go well with just about anyone.

I really do like Elrond with most all the good guys. My two OTPs are Aragorn/Elrond and Celeborn/Elrond (sometimes with Thranduil as a threesome). But I also like Faramir/Elrond, and I've enjoyed fics with Elrond/Glorfindel, Elrond/Erestor, Elrond/Legolas, Elrond/Elros, Elrond/Figwit, etc. The only big Elrond ship I'm tired of is Elrond/Gil-galad because it's often written in a way I don't agree with and often at the expense of some other ship, but one of my favorite stories is an Elrond/Gil-galad story where Gil-galad is newly reborn in Valinor, so I guess I ship this too. I also like some canon Elrond/Celebrian too, depending on how it's written.

I just adore Elrond as a character. He's so decent and nice in the books that he's great to put with suffering characters who need to be uplifted. But at the same time, he's suffered so much himself that it's great to pair him with someone who can take care of him too. There can never be enough Elrond. I'm only sad when fics take too much from the movies and say he thinks Men are weak, etc.
