Ah, yeah. If it's supposed to be 'real' with science! and stuff explaining it...it is kinda out there.

The zombies in the show are given a drug to keep them 'normal' and allow them conscious thought, so there IS some manner of science going on, you just don't hear about it in extreme detail.

One of the female zombies has had sex, but we haven't seen that with a male zombie yet. Not sure how Amy's parts worked (or even if they did; I assume not like they should) but yea, the setting of the series feels grounded in reality, so I can't imagine zombie erections. Though, you know, fanfic, people can go wild with it; that's the point! It just throws me off.)
