I actually understood the first one. Go me! Not, mind you, because I actually play chess, unless by 'plays chess' you mean 'knows how all the pieces move and once beat my sister in six moves without actually noticing until she pointed it out'. I recognise Reti because I was looking up chess gambits for rooks for a Downey!Holmes fanfic. Fandom, ladies and gents.

I'm making a guess that the second is Euchre, based on wiki-ing 'card game bowers', and the third I've no clue. But one out of three ain't bad?

Don't know that I've ever heard euchre players called "gamers." Or chess dorks, for that matter.

I have played hearts, and I guess someone who took it up to drunken strip psychic hearts might be a gamer. Or at least pretty weird.
