I actually think vaguebooking is like crying wolf too. I've rolled my eyes before and scrolled on, only to later find out no, something actually bad happened. But with so many posts on my feed being along the same lines, except the bad thing was something the person would've forgotten about twenty minutes later if they hadn't posted about it on FB, I no longer know when someone actually needs hugs and support and when they're trying to get it over nothing. Sometimes literally.

And I had a friend who once posted a nasty status about me on FB. Over a simple misunderstanding, which she knew perfectly well.

Those are the worst. And it's even more stupid when people who don't know anything about the situation give them asspats likes for their nasty status.
