Well, she COULD be. I can definitely see the problem where people say OMG SHE'S POC AND ANYONE WHO DISAGREES IS RACIST AND WHITEWASHING. But on the other hand, it's not like it's explicitly stated she's white. So if people want to interpret her either way, I think that's fine, just so long as they don't flip their lids over anyone interpreting her differently.
