I've always said yes to those requests, and asked for links to the finished products even though I wouldn't be able to read them. Sometimes I received the link, sometimes I received it ages later, and sometimes not at all.

I've also run across unauthorized translations of my fic on the net but it was still credited to me and linked back to the original story. Doesn't seem like a big deal to me. If I'm ever going to get into trouble for fanfiction, it's mostly going to be due to the English versions anyway.
