Soul bonding. I will read all the soul bonding for any fandom I even half-way know. *grabby hands*

Found family. Same for this one, only I'll also be bawling my eyes out in joy and relief for the main character(s).

Antagonist reformation. I just love it when they start fighting with the good guys. C: Bonus points for plenty of UST!

Glad to hear I'm not alone!!

I think the one antagonist reformation I wanted most was Draco in HP, but of course that didn't happen. In canon. And that's why we have fix-it fic. :D

I like soulbonding, but I've grown tetchy in my old age and I don't like it if the soulbond forces the characters to fall in love.

Now if the reason the soulbond makes them fall in love is because it allows them an avenue of communication that makes it easier to see each other as right, at least then it's explained, but I just hate when it feels like "Oh, you have a soulbond? You're gonna fall in love automatically!".

Maybe that can be chalked up to me wanting people to write a soulbond decently, and show us a bit of the mechanics of how it works.

I know what you mean. Soul bonding = love-of-course does become rather tired. It's too easy, and thus boring for me to read. I enjoy the stories with bonds that force the characters to overcome their differences, or learn who their new partner really is, and maybe even come to respect each other without the magical sway pushing it on them. Then there's the potential for an engrossing character drama! ^^V
