I think a lot of people were upset because throughout the whole series she was like, 14 or 15. But the next time you see her she's ~*magically~* aged up, just in time to bone Sam gee what a coincidence.

A lot of people found it kinda skeevy, at the least that seemed to be the reason most people had with it.
A lot of people also just don't like Reminder because of all the other dumb shit he's written, (like making Steve sympathize with his seemly out-of-nowhere abuisve dad...?)
And this was the last straw

yeah, hating Remender is all well and good. There's just... much more relevant reasons to hate him.

And this is why I'm unhappy with the announcement about Sam becoming Cap. Not because I think it's a bad idea, but because Remender is a goddamn idiot who can't write Cap and is pretty bad at Sam.

Yeah, I like the idea, but he is NOT the guy I wanna see writing it. There is just so much messed up crap that he's thrown into the Captain America mythos--he really seems like a guy who just Does Not Get It and should not be writing it.

Remender can't write it forever. Hopefully someone who understands the characters will write next, and we can just pretend that whatever Remender spews out is a bad dream…
