"Her comments/remarks and reactons felt like ones that a normal person would say/do in the situations she was in."

Wooooow, are we even remotely watching the same show?

I don't like how boring she is, like a bunch of comments have stated already. She doesn't do anything. She doesn't. Her story of jumping into his DNA timeline and trying to help and that's why there are so many versions of her doesn't make any sense. The only reason she was in the first episode (modern Clara, not governess Clara) was because she was magically given the ability to understand computers when she couldn't even figure out wifi. All she seems to do is follow the Doctor around and make generally annoying comments.

Hoping next season she'll be written better. ...Still annoyed she's a teacher I cannot see or understand that at all.

What about the time she agreed to have that leaf of hers burned in order to stop the enemy from whipping out the Doctor's memories? Or her mother's ring taken in order to go save other people? Or when she was technically the only one in the room who disagreed about him ending Gallifrey, hence opening his eyes to look into other solutions other than killing his people? Or when she flew the tardis to take him from that place with the monster who was about to kill the Doctor?

idk, to me she seemed like the one the Doctor leaned on, instead of vice versa. But yeah, maybe that's too perfect, I can see why people wouldn't typically like that, but it's still all very much fictional in the end so you can't expect everything to be realistically real.

The teacher thing makes sense to me, at least as far as it being a job that has to do with kids go. In every version of her that we've seen, her working with children has always been present. Oswin Oswald was a Junior Entertainment Manager, Clara Oswin Oswald was a governess, and the first time we meet Clara Oswald she's a nanny until the dad can find someone else. That she'd pursue something like teaching really isn't that strange. Teachers are an incredibly big part of a child's life.

This. It felt like a very logical progression of the character.
