I don't even know what telling people they are horrible anon is supposed to accomplish besides more arguments, which is what I'm starting to suspect you are after.

...do you not like children's movies, or what? HTTYD is pretty inoffensive as far as movies go, so it really surprises me when people have strong opinions against it.

Anyway, sacrifices have to be made for friendship, but you should put your foot down if you're the only one who's willing to make the effort.

For starters, no, I don't enjoy children's movies. I've tried Disney, Studio Ghibli, Dreamworks, etc., and I always seem to get bored. *shrug* I'd have no problem watching one every once in a while at home, but when I wind up in situation where I have to keep forking over cash to see movies that bore me, on top of sitting through said types of movies and tv shows at home because that's all we do, I get tired of it.

Friendships aren't about being walked all over. You need to talk to your friend before everything builds up and boils over. Or perhaps you guys just shouldn't be friends anymore.

Speak to them about it.

I mean it. Don't just bear with behaviour that makes you feel undervalued and uncomfortable. You'll get frustrated, unhappy, and eventually the friendship will go down in flames because you'll be sick of it.

Communication is one of the most vital things you can do in any sort of relationship. It may not turn out how you want (she could just be a bad friend and a conversation about her bad behaviour could cement that fact), but it's better than letting it die a slow death.
