For me, absolutely nothing will ever beat the wtf-ness of Mystique referring to "Raven Darkholme" as her slave name The Last Stand. Like, I get that the whole mutant thing has long been a metaphor for the Civil Rights movement, but that doesn't even make sense.

Haha and I remember the writer was so proud of that line, too. He bragged about it in some interview (or maybe it was a forum?) that he got to keep it in. He begged to keep it in.
