Ironically, Zoloft gives me a different headache than any of my other ones. For me, it's like a pulsing pain between my skull and my brain. What you're describing (one side of the head, lessens after your period starts) sounds like a hormonal migraine.

It also makes my blood pressure go up about 40 systolic points, and 20 dystolic. I think that's what causes my Zoloft headaches (especially since the only thing it responds to is aspirin).

With the periods, I'm not really the one to ask, because mine got incredibly heavy after a five-year stint of not having one at all after a head injury. So I'm on a continuous regiment of progesterone, which stops my periods altogether now.
