See, this I can understand. I get a LOT of "You'd be so pretty if..." and it's true. I could put out a little effort and be a very, very pretty woman.

That's the thing. My 'blue' is 'male'. I'm transgendered. Female to Male. So, I sympathise with Mystique base wants. She wants to be blue, and accepted as she walks down the street. She wants to be who she was born as!

So do I. The difference between her and me is that I wouldn't hurt anyone to try to do this, and she appears to be more than happy to hurt people.

Yeah, I understand their anger but overall I'm on Charles' side, not Erik's. Starting to see the other side as not mattering just because they think *you* don't matter never ends well.

I don't support Erik's side or Raven's choices, but that doesn't mean I don't sympathize with their dilemmas, or understand why they made those choices in the first place. We can believe their oppression is legitimate without supporting their reactions to that oppression.
