It's the most obvious answer because it's probably the easiest while still being legal. I mean... you could donate plasma, haunt estate sales/yard sales/curb crawl for stuff to sell on Ebay, dumpster dive to supplement your food income, learn to make something to sell on etsy, etc. But you have to ask yourself: would any of those options earn more than say, $5/hour? No?

Then you should seriously consider getting a job that pays at least that much if not more.
