I don't hate Snape, but I hated how popular and woobified he became, like did everyone forget that he's a terrible person?
I've never liked Ariel from the Little Mermaid, even when I was a kid (I actually told my mom that she could donate my Little Mermaid VHS and I was someone who would never willingly part from my other Disney movies). I've come across so many diehard Ariel fans IRL who acted like I kicked their puppy.

Haha. I never minded Ariel as a character, but my sister hates her with the passion of a thousand suns.

One of my biggest beefs with Ariel as a kid was how she fell in love with Eric, who I thought was the most boring Disney prince ever.

Even more boring than Snow White and Cinderella's princes?

Haaaa, no probably not. I actually forgot about those two nameless ones. I think it's because I watched the Disney Renaissance films the most so I kept comparing Eric to Aladdin, the Beast, Tarzan etc... and I liked them all better than him. I also didn't really like his character design.

I don't get Snape defenders at all. Yeah, he was in love with Lilly, doesn't actually make him less of a bad person. Bad people can feel love too, they're still bad people.

Heh, i like Ariel (mind i saw the movie for the first time about three years ago), but she is an acquired taste.

I like her singing, at least. So my Ariel-loving friends sort of forgive me because I'm willing to sing Part of Your World with them at karaoke.

I don't get Ariel die-hard fans either. I get liking her character, but not acting like she's completely flawless and relatable, and saying that because she was a teenager that excuses all her fuck ups.
