Which characters can you not stand that the fandom insists is the most perfect snowflake who can do no wrong? Which beloved fandom icon makes you froth at the mouth?

Is Horatio beloved by the fandom? I thought everyone thought he was a joke and people who liked the show liked it in spite of him or because of how cracky his character was.

Loki. Not quite to can't stand level, but he is completely overrated.
Emma Swan. Again, not can't stand per say, but overrated and almost reached can't stand level this past season.

Kirk from Star Trek. That may be because I have only seen the movies (and a couple of episodes) though.

And while I don't hate them individually, I am slowly starting to hate Derek/Stiles as a pairing.

Draco Malfoy, all thanks to ONE of his rabid stans. I used to feel neutral towards him but her constant whining about him being so unappreciated and thoughtless bashing of every other character and pairing other than drarry set the del for me.

I don't hate Snape, but I hated how popular and woobified he became, like did everyone forget that he's a terrible person?
I've never liked Ariel from the Little Mermaid, even when I was a kid (I actually told my mom that she could donate my Little Mermaid VHS and I was someone who would never willingly part from my other Disney movies). I've come across so many diehard Ariel fans IRL who acted like I kicked their puppy.

Not so much hate but more like finding them uninteresting, but Levi, Christa, Reiner, and Bertolt from Attack on Titan. Oh and Marco as well.

Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue. And any new (male) slash pairing that floods my flist everytime the Marvel Cinematic Universe gets a new addition. Where's the variety???

Cats as a whole species. I can't see what's the link between them and fandom, still, if you don't worship the ground they piss on, it makes you a lesser human being and even "worse" a lesser fandom person???

Sherlock (Sherlock) annoyed me.
Katniss irritated me for some reason. In the first book she was fine, but after that...
I don't hate Legolas, but he's overrated. I always liked Pippin better.
Nightfall (Elfquest) is also irritating.

It's gotten infinitely better since the series closed, but for a long time this was me on Willow Rosenberg.

And I don't actually care all that much for Stiles on Teen Wolf, but I've noticed more people saying this, too.

lost: jack and sawyer. i mean, i don't hate them, but you gotta admit they're pretty straightforward handsome white dudes characters. but somehow the fandom revolves around them and ships them together (which, ok, at least they interact on the show, but c'mon, there are more obvious pairings than that one). i'd rather talk and read about the more interesting and unique characters like locke, ben or sun.
hp: snape. he's everywhere, why is he everywhere?

idk, i don't really hate any characters. if i get irritated it's more due to overexposure than anything else.

Tony Stark and Loki. It's not the characters themselves I hate; it's how much the fandom woobifies them and insists that they can do no wrong, often at the expense of other characters that I love.

Ezra from Mag7. It's not so much the character, because I love him on the show. But fanon Ezra just makes me want to kick something. Repeatedly.

Getting there with Coulson in the MCU tbh, I didn't mind the guy at first but I do not get the love for him(I'm also slightly bitter that at the end of AoS he was given the keys to SHIELD which A: ignores what CA:TWS was about(and honestly I was really interested in seeing a Marvel universe without a SHIELD and what would happen, but that's not happening anymore), and B: he gets the position of director over Maria Hill and I'm sorry but no, do not like that at all(okay so Hill was more in the public eye and yanno, not dead, but surely the information about Coulson's death got leaked when Natasha put all of SHIELD's intel all over the internet? Idk, I just didn't like him being put in charge, fuck that)).

Lucina from Fire Emblem. I don't think she's a horrible character, but her presence just... Annoys me now. Lots of people want to fuck her, be her mom, or both even to obsessive levels.
