Um, how are you at being okay with spoilers? Because I did manage to see the leaked pilot.

Actually, I'd like to know myself. I'm not sure I'm going to actually watch the show (I'm not a big Constantine fan like I am for Flash and Batman) and I'm not bothered by early-installment spoilers.

From little what I remember of the Keanu version, no, the pilot's not even remotely the same as Keanu film. It's not set the world on fire great like the Flash pilot was, but it was fairly engaging, especially the actor they have playing Constantine (shallow moment: The Welsh accent is incredibly sexy). I haven't read the comics, so I can't say if the show matches up with it accurately, but you do get a sense of the character from the very beginning of the pilot when he's apparently checked himself into a mental instituion (TW: the beginning of the episode features electric shock therapy, for those who may not feel comfortable watching that small bit), and he performs an exorcisim on a female resident there, pretty much destroying the activity room in the process.

Since I spotted a complaint about guns in the Keanu version down thread, I'll also note there were no guns shown at all in the episode.

Constantine's dialogue and portrayal was at times brooding laced with dark humor in it, but with an engaging manner throughout all of it. The female protraying the lead was a bit bland and did bring down the overall energy of the pilot a bit, so I'm not surprised their replacing her, but it wasn't enough to make the show absolutely horrible.

And he had incredible sexual chemistry with the (male)angel (archangel? I was never totally certain about that, but that might be something a comic fan could pick up on) in the episode, especially at the end in the bar scene. Much more than with the female lead (probably another reason the show's replacing her).

I still want my scene where he's played by someone like Izzard. John and Chas are at a bar, see a commercial for the Keanu movie, and John reveals that he got drunk and bored on a transatlantic flight and spend the hours winding up a screenwriter.
