Oh geez, there was the time in high school my club stopped at an I-Hop on the way back from a competition and our table had to wait two hours *after* everyone else had eaten to get our food. Which came cold. They offered us 25 cents off the drinks as compensation.

Or there was the time I expressly told a waitress that I was allergic to shellfish when asking about the contents of a dish and after assuring me there was nothing that could harm me in it, it still turns out it had shrimp baked in. I found out after taking a few bites.

Or there was the time a waiter took my order and then just...left. He just left the restaurant and sat in his car and it took an hour to get someone else to wait for our table.

Or there was the time the waiter kept aggressively hitting on me and threw a coaster at me when my female friend lied and said she was my girlfriend to get him off my back.
