Disney has a habit of making male villains that are more attractive or just more interesting than the princes. Not only do I like Gaston quite a lot, I also think Clayton from Tarzan was hot, though more obviously evil, while Tarzan was just a dumb ape-man. (Why didn't Tarzan have any facial or body hair?) And King Triton, while not a villain but just a mild antagonist, should have given Ariel a better idea of what a man looks like.

Yes, I have a muscle fetish. No fucking shame.


Gaston is ridiculously hot. My headcanon is that, had Belle and Gaston gotten to go on a stock rom-com adventure, they would have become an item with those six sons (or five sons and one daughter who outdoes daddy.)
