I just kind of played it like I was playing some guy's fanfiction

... I think that is the best way to play X-2 XD hahahahaa my OTP is Rikku/Paine

ANYWAY I was actually very much the same way, with Yuna! I, er, this is embarrassing but I went into FFX as a really annoying typical slashbrat - I was determined to ignore her JUST BECAUSE she was canon het with Tidus, and I spent the first half of the game trying to find someone I could slash Tidus with. ... then Bevelle happened and it was like a lightswitch - she was just so cool I couldn't ignore her anymore, her strength was too amazing. She broke me of being a fanbrat by being so incredible I couldn't put her down. ;_;

When I'm feeling down and out, I try to think of her. ♥

Actually, I started liking her when I cosplayed her for the first time. My friends were all doing a FF10 group and I had Yuna's exact hair at the time, so! Disgruntled as I was, we made the costume. At the convention? I made a ton of friends because of the costume (and obviously the character) and something that will always make me smile is that when I first dressed as her, three separate times, three different girls came up to me with their mothers and asked for a hug, because Yuna was their hero.

I COULD HAVE CRIIIIIED. Sooo... yeah, I started liking her then.

Yes ♥ I'm sad I have so few lesbian OTPs, it's pretty much them and Fran/Adrian :( but they are a lovely OTP they are
