9. Oh yes, I know it's silly. It's silly to think he's flaming purely because of his outfit or daddy issues or whatever.

I just can't picture him as straight, ever. O.o WHY DOES MY BRAIN PUNISH ME LIKE THIS. I know I'd even *like* Albel/Nel if I could move past that...

Oh, I can't either. I can't imagine him making any sort of romantic commitment to anyone at all, actually, at least not in the state he's in throughout the game. Perhaps with some time, yes, but for now his interest in people like Fayt lies solely in the fact that, holy crap someone beat him. And spared him (which actually I think he was rather pissed about, but I digress).

And I don't think I could like Albel/Nel ever. It's not even because she's a female and I'm omg~ such a slasher. It's really just the fact that not only is it implied she and he are enemies due to war, not rivals - the goal each of them are initially working for aren't the same, they wanted to destroy the other's country. Not only that, but the fact that they never exchange any words after he joins the party. Never. His final canon word to her is 'BAH.'
