Pam, Eric, Cersei, and Jamie are loved because they "own" their awfulness. At least that's the excuse I see thrown around all the time as a defense.

They're bad people but they know it so it's they are so much better than everyone else! Whatever.

I don't True Blood, but no, Jaime and Cersei don't really own their awfulness. They both, to a greater or lesser degree, believe they're justified in the shit they pull.
