I could be and dick say the same re: Moffat.

People like different eras for different reasons, anon. We know this. We've been down this path before. There is no victory here.

Yeah. Although I'm not gonna lie. I love a good Moffat hate post.

I just don't like fans bashing other fans about it.

Ironically I was jut going to post that I genially enjoyed Moffat's run.

I think you might have meant 'generally' but I'm enjoying the mental image of anon sitting back and chuckling affably while watching Moffat-era Who.

Anyway, yeah, I basically enjoyed both RTD's and Moffat's runs (although both are far from perfect). And that does not seem to be the general opinion.

Seriously. This seems much less popular of an opinion. Personally, I liked both eras, but I like Moffat's run more.

I do think Moffat's run has many flaws - most notably, consistent problems with being able to work out satisfying endings - but yeah, it's ultimately pretty satisfying to me. I prefer RTD's run personally just because his fundamental style appeals more to me. But both of them have pretty much put out mostly decent, entertaining television.

Whereas I think RTD likes pat endings that mostly are out of the blue and at times a stretch. And Moffat's style appeals to me because I love the wonder and sense of adventure and felt the angst of RTD's era got a bit old. But yes, ultimately it is all good and all the same show.
