At the risk of causing wank, Seattle's current production of the Mikado. It's gotten a lot of flack for its Yellowface, and honestly I agree with points from both sides.

Ultimately though, it's an amateur production company that uses all its proceeds to fund the next year's show and any lesson they can take away from this has already made its point through the national coverage and protests they've gotten, so I don't feel too bad "supporting" them.

And opera phantoms refer to the Phantom of the Opera. And the Phantom of the Megaplex. And the pseudo-Phantom/Giant Singing Flea of Paris. From my stream post above.
