Re: Because Oklahoma and Oregon are the same place
I don't really have a specific tale of woe, but a con that I went to for years has been slowly dying, and it's really sad. There was some drama awhile back, and the Old Organizers decided to try and sabotage the New Organizers, and the reverberations are still being felt four years later. Things have been progressively getting worse, and now there's a distinct possibility that it won't survive (and given that it's been running for nearly 60 years, that would suck a hell of a lot).
Re: Because Oklahoma and Oregon are the same place
Oh man, that really sounds like it sucks. D: I will send good thoughts your way, in the hopes that things end up working out.
