I was making dinner and my burner started smoking so in all my dumbass glory I lift the frying pan and turn it over to see whether it was something on the burner or the bottom of the frying pan, totally forgetting I had fucking olive oil IN THE PAN and thus spilling it all over myself. Thankfully it hadn't had a chance to heat up yet.

Also, getting a new rice cooker and this one has a steam vent and not noticing it and reaching over the cooker to open a cabinet and steam burning my arm. It was terrible and painful and dear god how many times am I going to burn myself before I stop being such a stupidhead when I cook?

Forgetting that ovens = hot and sticking my hand in the oven to take out a tray of cookies.

Moving million dollar heavy automatic medication dispensing cabinets at work and forgetting that heavy things+ramp+gravity=quick build up of speed and nearly getting smooshed. Thankfully I managed to stop it before I hit the wall at the bottom of the ramp. XD I don't think I can afford to have broken it.

Haha, no worries. I was a terrible child too, I swear I got frequent flyer miles for being in the ER. I've also concussed myself on my front door and tripped going up the stairs and put my teeth through my lip. Right before a family photo too. XD So we have this great picture of us with my lip huge and full of stitches.

Oh, man, that brings back memories.

Right before school picture day, we were roasting marshmallows and the stick I was using was apparently a little too flexible - my marshmallow caught on fire and I pulled it up to blow it out and instead hit myself in the chin with burning marshmallow that, of course, stuck. I have some nice school pictures with a red scab the size of a nickel on my chin (I don't remember why I didn't just wait for retake day).
