I had two off this year. One was for cosmetic/placement reasons (it was raised and on the hairline of my neck, it got rubbed a lot) and I think it wound up around $150. This was by my dermatologist, btw, I know you can get laser treatment for moles at some "med spas" but being as I'm pale as fuck, covered in moles, and have a family history of skin cancer, I wanted to go to the place that would biopsy the tissue. There is a little scar, basically the shape of the mole but white and slightly scooped looking. Laser treatment leaves less of a scar, afaik, but it depends on the size and location of your mole if that's an issue for you.

I also had a big mole on my shoulder blade that the derm and I had been looking at for like 12 years going "That's gonna have to come off some time before it goes bad, but it's gonna leave a hell of a scar." So this February I had the whole thing removed (not just the top layer off) and I think it was about $700 total, including all the aftercare of them removing my stitches. So now I have a gnarly scar on my shoulder but at least I don't have to worry about that mole any more. Anyway, sorry if that was a little tangential, I hope that helps your decision.
