Is it possible this conversation was taken out of context, though? A lot of people portray Charlie as this sexaholic, or at least a very "lucky" man, so it may have been a subversion. Maybe, I dunno.

Having said that, yeah, I don't think he's necessarily asexual, he just... never got married. A lot of people don't.

Except JK pretty much confirmed that he had no sexual interest in any gender with her "he's too interested in dragons to notice girls" and "no he is not gay!!!!" responses on if he would ever get married.

I think the oddest thing about this secret is that an asexual doesn't want representation, if that comes from people picking up on it from their lack of sex life. It's kind of like a gay person no wanting a character to be label "gay" just because people picked up on that that character only had crushes on the same sex. Maybe that character is bisexual. It is a possibility, but people can only work with the information they are given.
