I don't see where you're getting "OMG CHARLIE IS ASEXUAL ITS CANON" from that.

What if Charlie is sexually attracted to beets? I don't know, what if he is? That sounds like a fanfic premise, not like a declaration of canonicity.

I have seen people reply to this specific comment with "#what do you mean ‘what if’ that’s literally what happened", which is a little bit annoying ngl but I agree, I don't see a problem with the original post.
