The Monstrumologist, Trying Again (yeahh don't laugh)

[personal profile] dreemyweird 2014-07-26 08:40 pm (UTC)(link)
So. I agreed to write a TA fic (for those not in the know, TA is a romcom). With romance, obviously. That's the first time I'm going to write romance - and I don't even ship the characters (seeing as I don't do shipping).

I'm kinda excited and also really scared I'll fuck it up. And IDK if I have the sense of humour necessary to write a story for a romcom canon source. IDK.

I'm also writing a post-Isle of Blood fix-it for The Monstrumologist fandom, and I keep worrying that I'm making it too conceptual and too full of philosophizing/too feely and hence OOC/too obscure. Man, writing one's first work for a fandom is hard -_- The fact that the plot involves lots of suicide thoughts/urges doesn't help.
