I don't think either way of doing fandom is wrong(nor is one better than the other).

I'm someone who is into multipile fandoms but a large part of that is because I find it hard to focus solely on one thing at a time, so I kind of just bundle up everything I love together in one big happy pile. But if others don't do that I don't see the issue? We just approach fandom differently.
