There are many products available in your local drug store for scar reduction. A silicone skin fillers will help with the current skin lesion, as they work by reducing healing time which in turn reduces scarring.

For older scars you can visit a dermatologist and look into laser treatments. It would also be a good opportunity to check out laser hair removal, which is a much more permanent solution for you. It's much cheaper than it used to be, and in your situation it really seems like an investment you need in order to avoid further skin damage.
