I have a mo problem too anon but mine happened when I got to a certain age. I still pluck mine occasionally but mostly I wax it at home now.

Nothing will really make the hair grow softer and thinner but waxing makes the regrowth slower so it seems that way.

Also try rubbing in some scar oils like Bio-Oil once it's healed (or its equivalent for where you live).

If you have excessive facial hair you may want to consider seeing your doctor as maybe you can get a hormone treatment.
