OMG. She is the worst actress on the show IMO. If I was watching for her, I would've stopped during season one.

Rumple and Regina are the reasons to watch the show.

I don't know about that. I actually dislike Snow, to be honest, but the actress playing Regina eats the scenery for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a light snack during the day so I can't say she's bringing it, in my opinion (same with Rumple, which is weird because that guy is actually a good actor outside of this show).

I'm not sure if that's Lana Parilla or Bobby Carlyle, so much as the show. Given that 'Evil is Hammy' appears to be the rule around here, along with 'Evil is Angsty' and 'Evil Wears Leather'/'Evil Has a Better Wardrobe'. Some of them just carry it off better than others.

It probably is the show because there are far more characters who are playing it batshit insanely OTT than those few who act with a modicum of restraint. And you know that some of these actors are good in other stuff.

That's probably one of my biggest problems with this show. They have talented actors I already liked prior and actors I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt to, having never seen them in anything else and they squander them. There are so many bad performances throughout and I don't know if that these actors phoning it in or bad direction, but oh my God. There are moments that are supposed to have emotional resonance that I just laugh at because they're so poorly executed.
