I'm trying to avoid most Inquisition news so when I get to play (which might be a bit seeing as I usually play DA on computer and my current one wouldn't run it) I won't be too overhyped or disappointed if BioWare leaves out features I think sound cool. I have issues with both DA2 and ME3, so if Inquisition doesn't impress me I might not be giving BioWare any money for a while. (From what I have seen, it does look pretty good. Not sure about some of the character designs, but I guess change is difficult. It's the actual gameplay and story that worry me the most though, so hopefully they deliver on that.)

I'm most looking forward to The Rise of the Tomb Raider. The first game was surprisingly solid, fun, and engaging, so if the second is similar in quality it'll be a great time.

Other than that, I want Halo 5 but am not keeping up with it (I don't want to buy an Xbox One, grumble), and I think Sunset Overdrive looks amazing but again with the Xbox One.

Bayonetta 2!... But again, I'll have to watch a walkthrough of that because I'm not buying a Wii U.

I feel so bad for Bayonetta 2, it would be amazing on PC and make more money than being stuck on the Wii U alone, but the developers have no interest in porting it, and Nintendo wouldn't take kindly to it at all. I mean, I'm glad Nintendo funded it at all, but like you said, most people who'd play a game like Bayonetta don't own and never plan to own a Wii U.

Haha, basically yes. I grew up with Nintendo so it isn't like I have anything against them, but if I was going to buy a console it would be one of the other two; Nintendo doesn't have a lot of properties I'm dying to get my hands on right now. And as much as I love Bayonetta... The only way I would buy a Wii U is if it was extremely cheap (like $60, $80 or something), so that's many years down the road.

It's great that Nintendo funded it, so people have the option at least, but I doubt it's going to sale well on that platform.

And frankly, Bayonetta is one of the few games that I play just for the enjoyment of gaming; most games interest me because of the story and cast, and the game play is certainly a part of that, but not necessarily the main event. Bayonetta is meant to be played, though; thinking of watching it is so disappointing.

That's what happened to me with the PS3, the first Bayonetta was only one of like four games I wanted on that console, so I put off buying it for years until the used models were cheap enough. I might buy a used Wii U for Bayonetta 2 in like, 2016, lol. And yeah, that's really true, I tried to watch a playthrough and I just couldn't do it, the story pales in comparison to playing it yourself, like with any good hack'n'slash.

Waiting sucks, but if you don't have a decent selection of games you're interested in its the smart choice. I was lucky enough to have a 360 when the game was released, so once I tried a demo of it I was sold; immediately went out and bought it. It was well worth the price!

I might pick it up as well, but yea, it won't be anytime soon. Arg.

Hack and slash, games over 12 or so hours, or anything where you need to make lots of choices (ala BioWare) is no fun to watch others play, imo.
