I do! I'm a fan of EditingAndLayout's gifs, and they put up some really handy tutorials before. The basic how to make is:



Which I've tried myself to decent effect before! As for adding text:



And for saving and optimising them for the web so they play smoothly:



Another (easy) option is to use Gfycat, which creates HTML5 little gif... things which play MUCH faster and have a much smaller filesize. You can either upload a finished gif to them to convert, or put in a video URL (Youtube, usually) and make one on the site itself!
