Yes, my smut needs to be in character for me to enjoy it. I'm in a lot of anime fandoms, old ones at that, so the weepy uke/rapist, abusive seme is quite prevalent in fic.I can't enioy that. It is just skeevy and so out of character for the characters in my ships. Finding in character smut is so difficult but oh so worth it.
