Agreed! My sister and a close friend have S/Os who smoke and it seems to put a lot of strain in the relationship (arguments about smoker needing to quit for health/the kids/money), and I could never put up with that. Smoking also literally stinks.

Same. I start coughing if I get within ten feet of a cigarette and I can't stand the smell of stale tobacco that hangs around the clothes of smokers who aren't careful about that.

This is mine too, not only for personal reasons, but it makes everything stink.

Yep. I did date someone seriously for a while who smoked. It was an annoying habit. Not only did our place reek or cigarettes and some of the walls were stained yellow, but all our clothes had this distinct stale cigarette smell. And forget going and enjoying a movie. We'd always sit in the aisle seats because after about an hour he'd have to leave to have a smoke. There were lots of that. Eating dinner at a non-smoking restaurant? I'd be left alone several times throughout the night. Not saying that everyone who smokes is like that as I have friends that smoke, but it's not an experience I want to go through again.
