Doesn't like animals, especially cats. They can not like a species or two, but all animals in general--no. And cats are the exception to the one or two rule. Gotta like cats to date me!

Same, I love animals and will always want them in my life so any partner needs to be cool with that.

I don't think this is shallow, but I agree. Maybe I could handle disinterest (maybe) but not dislike.

Not liking dogs would be a dealbreaker for me. I cannot imagine a life without dogs.

Not liking cats would make me really sad, but I could probably compromise on it. I've never actually had a cat since two of my immediate family members are allergic to them, though I'd like to have both cats and dogs when I'm on my own.
