I'm so sorry to hear about your debt and I hope you and your partner are doing better now with your health!
But I can understand the jealousy. I would be too! It's normal to feel jealous, but just remember not to try to compare your life to your friend's. It doesn't do well to hang onto the negativity. Just focus on your life, and try to be positive. I know it's hard, because I'm not in a great situation myself, but try to make the most of what you have. Just try to remember that there are a lot of people out there who have it a lot worse and be grateful of what you do have. =)
I know this probably didn't do much, but I do wish you the best, and I really do hope you find a job soon!
