Like I said, it doesn't matter to me. The unwillingness to oblige to basic rules isn't something I find attractive. Jaywalking can seem harmless, but it's a law for a reason. Lots of times a pedestrian crossing at a time when they shouldn't can lead to a discourse in traffic or even an injury. It's my preference and from what I've seen, most people who disregard laws tend to act out and have a sense of entitlement. Not saying it's true for everyone, but from what I've seen it's enough for me to find it unattractive.

What if they're unaware of the law? There are a lot of arbitrary laws out there, many that are obsolete and make no sense but haven't been taken out of the books. Chances are pretty high you've broken some yourself. Not to mention unjust laws that violate human rights.

Sorry, OP, I know this is a shallow dealbreaker thread but you seem to have a really rigid way of thinking that I can't quite wrap my brain around.

If they're unaware, that's completely different. If they didn't know, then their action doesn't come from a sense of entitlement. Likewise, breaking any laws that clearly violate human rights can obviously be excused from this.

This attitude is a little bit frightening to me. The law isn't what dictates morality and lawmakers are sometimes wrong.

For pointless laws like not being able to walk a duck on Wallstreet? Yes.

For laws that incriminate those who act upon voyeurism, rape, murder, abuse, theft, and a whole lot more? No, those are necessary and people who break these laws are scum.

Hahaha, wow. It always blows my mind when I hear about people who truly think that because something is against the law, it's wrong. It must really screw with you when laws get changed or revoked.
