this comment is rather aggravating.

We already have a problem with people being pressured to go to college even if it's not something they want or can pay for and dismissing and demeaning manual work and other work that doesn't require a degree. College does NOT prepare people well for some fields. You're contributing to that problem and shaming people for having a different path in life than the venerated ~~college~~ that isn't even useful to everyone.

I don't care who you date, but your generalizations about people and education here are kind of upsetting.

If you care about people being ambitious, I guess that's fine (though isn't that a personality thing, so wouldn't really qualify for the thread?)
