There is a sum total of one fictional character who I have ever related to, and when I examined him more closely I found he wasn't all that like me at all. I have as many reasons for favourite characters as I have favourite characters, some of them think the way I do, most of them don't, but I just think they're all the bestest ever.
And yeah, I like seeing my favourite characters get sent through the wringer.
