I don't necessarily hate them, but I really don't like most ships Stiles is involved in. For Lydia I can't get over how creepily obsessed he was in season one, or the fact that she's only recently started showing any kind of interest in him that felt genuine. I don't think they're a great match and I'd like to see them both end up with different people but keep growing closer and stay good friends.

Also, Malia/Stiles just feels a bit too convenient. The beginning of that relationship is always going to taint that pairing for me; it all happened way too fast for my liking (most TW pairings do, tbh) and the mentor/friend/partner thing they've got going on doesn't work for me.

I don't ship Stiles/Scott, but I would much rather that then Stiles/Lydia or Stiles/Malia. (Obviously it would never happen, but it's a shame the show isn't going to explore the possibility of Stiles being bisexual. I could see him kissing Scott while confused about his sexuality.)

Oh, and I always felt bad for Danny and Lydia for getting put with the twins; they were terrible, completely unlikable characters and I didn't give a shit about their relationships.

I don't dislike Malia/Stiles but it feels kind of weird to me? Like I'm enjoying Stiles being a mentor to her, because it's fun to watch, but adding a romance into that just seems a bit strange. Idk.

Ngl I could totally see Stiles/Scott making out to see what it's like, and being completely cool with one another if they weren't into it.

Man Lydia and Danny deserved so much better.

Maybe it's just me, but it sort of feels like he's her world right now. And in the same way that Stiles/Lydia doesn't work for me (because I love Stiles, but when he gets too obsessive over Lydia I cringe) it kind of creeps me out. I don't know how to explain it, but with him being her mentor on all things human, and her latching on... It feels like there's a power imbalance. Of course she could tear his arms off and beat him with them if she wanted, but it still feels off for me.

If Scott and Stiles kissed I don't think it would be a big deal, but I'm also can't imagine Scott getting into it. I can imagine him being like, “No, bro, no” because of the “We're brothers thing”, but not being grossed out because he's a guy. Then they'd go back to normal.

No I get what you mean, she's physically stronger than him but he's more knowledgeable about the world and social queue's than her so if Stiles was at all inclined that way he could totally manipulate the situation to his advantage. It's one of those things where if TW was a better show the issues with consent and the power imbalance would be talked about and dealt with, but because it's not it kind of makes me tilt my head a little bit. I don't think it's THE WORST EVER, it just comes off as a bit odd to me.

Yeah I couldn't see Scott objecting because Stiles is a dude, as you said if it weirded him out it would be the whole brothers thing.

I don't really think Stiles came off as creepily obsessed with Lydia but I just didn't like that ship for reasons. (One being that I hate the Nerd-Gets-the-Girl trope)

Well... He was certainly persistent, you know? She shows no interest in him and he keeps trying to get her to notice him. It just rubbed me the wrong way. If she isn't into you then drop it, dude.

I agree with you on the nerd-gets-the-girl trope though.

It's true that I told the TV "Get a clue, man, she's not that into you" like 3 times.
