Chakotay/Seven and Janeway/Chakotay. Really, I just can't ship Janeway with anyone but Seven, and the only other Seven ship I like is Paris/Seven (dunno why on that one, though). I prefer the idea of Chakotay being Janeway's platonic BFF (well, okay, second-best friend after Tuvok), and of course C/7 makes no sense whatsoever and should never have happened. I also kinda ship Chakotay with Tom, so that's another reason.

I also hate Doc/7, but that's more to do with the fans than the actual pairing. It just bothers me how so many of them will go on and on about how J/7 is such a horrible, unhealthy relationship full of abuse of power and consent issues, which is fair enough, but then they turn right around and start hailing Doc/7 as the healthiest, most flawless pairing ever. Because the EMH has never manipulated her, or abused her trust. Not to mention the time he hijacked her body without her consent. It was a life-or-death situation, so that part is understandable, but then he went on and did all kinds of inappropriate stuff with it even though he knew exactly how uncomfortable and upset it made her.

I also don't like any ship involving Eliot from Leverage. I like him as a character, but something about him makes him impossible for me to ship with anyone on the team. I guess it's because I view him as the grumpy-but-protective big brother of the family.

Similarly, I can't ship Hope from FFXIII with anyone from the first game (still haven't gotten around to playing the other two, so I can't give an opinion on those), as he's too much of an adorkable kid brother figure. I just want to muss his hair, pinch his cheek and give him a cookie. Thinking of him in any romantic pairing just skeeves me the fuck out.

Agreed on all the Voyager ships. Really I don't ship anything but Tom/B'Lanna. My most hated is Janeway/Chakotay because she is his superior officer and in my mind a relationship is totally innapropriate. And the fact that the pairing permeates the fandom is frustrating. Where is all the gen with Janeway being awesome without a man?

Chakotay/Seven made no sense and came out of nowhere. And he is also her superior.

Doc/7 isn't something I necessarily hate the idea of, but the fans can be pretty obnoxious. And their relationship could be also read as a bit father/child since he taught her in a lot of ways (though less so in my mind than her and Janeway and he isn't her boss in the same way)

Janeway/Seven I can't do either, though. Their relationship feels too mother/child.

Really, I just want my Voyager gen. And it seems almost impossible to find.

At least with Janeway/Chakotay we kind of had seven years of foundation and semi - buildup. As has been said, Chakotay/7 came out of nowhere with really no build - up to anything whatsoever. Hell, Doc/7 had more build-up than C/7.

I could never really ship Janeway with anyone because she was the captain - and like Kirk and Picard she is married to her ship. (Sisko was different in that he was able to find a work-life balance.) And for Janeway it was even worse as there wasn't really anyone outside the crew she could have a relationship with.
