Anything dealing with Sasuke. Cause he's a fucking douche who needs to die by Susanoo's flames.

Kakashi/Iruka. HATE IT. Never could understand why it became popular. they BARELY spoke in the anime and even less in the manga.

Harry/Ginny. For the majority of the reason's most Harry/Ginny shippers have, except for two: Never did buy the Lily comparison...much. And I don't hate it cause of Harry/Hermione. I like that pair, sure, but I was more partial to Harry/Luna. But I just never liked Harry/Ginny mainly for the sudden personality shift and "Oh yeah, I have a sister of Ron's don't I?" feel that came up in book 5. And the goddamn bullshit in book 6.

Kirk/Spock in Nu!Trek. Because of the fucking fans. I'd have no issue with it otherwise, but FUCK did they ruin it for me.

Ash/Misty and it's entirely due to my growing up and realizing how fucking useless Misty was in the first series...that and Ash is fucking oblivious to anything but Pokemon.

Majority of the ships in the Monster High fandom, namely Heath/Abbey. Usually I'm all over those types of ships, but Heath is SO fucking obnoxious and SUCH a fuckin' little skirt chaser that I just can't see Abbey waiting him out to change. Just no.

Many others over the years, but those are just the one's off teh top of my head.

Agreed so damn hard on Kakashi/Iruka. The popularity of that pairing boggles my mind. I mean, Iruka is just so damn dull and the pairing is just usually fluffy domestic nonsense.

Also agreed on Ash/Misty. I was never a huge fan of Misty tbh and Ash doesn't give a shit about anything other than pokemon.

Ash/Misty was my first OTP. ;___; possibly my first actual ship.

But they're kids. I ship them more aged up. Like if they reconnected after all their adventures. (I haven't seen much anime past Indigo League, and in my mind Ash ages like a normal person lol)

I have no doubt the fics are good, but I just...can't. When she showed up for three episodes in Hoenn, she was just as useless as she was before she left...like, she's fine by herself and she goes and becomes a water master or whatever, but when Ash comes on the scene? They just...sideline her.

But, I'm also biased...I've seen a good chunk of the Diamond/Pearl anime and Dawn is awesome in that season. It's the ONLY season where they had a girl character BE something. May was also very wishy-washy before she finally grew into her own and Iris...was exactly like Misty. Which disappointed me cause she was a dragon trainer. :(

I have no idea what the new girl is like though as I have yet to really watch the X/Y anime.

I DO remember a few good fics way back in the day, but I have a feeling many of those have been lost to time. I know quite a few were from the AAML site.

To be fair, I first watched Pokemon as a kid with no concept of Strong Female Characters or watching things from a feminist viewpoint. And I thought she was cool in Indigo League, not "useless". Of course, now, I can analyze their characters and understand that Misty is really more Token Female than anything, because that kind of anime doesn't really care about complex female characters (or complex male characters, for that matter; just badass ones).

I still ship it. I always liked their dynamic and thought it was cute. To each their own. :P

No problem. I have the occasional pair that I stubbornly ship deapite things myself.

But Pokemon wise...Dawn won me over so hard that every other female character outside Jessie amd the gym leaders...kind of pale in comparison, which sucks cause Iris had major potential (and dragons), and so did May. :C

Well, I've never really seen any Sinnoh Pokemon, so we have different perspectives.

I'm gonna have to agree with Harry/Ginny whoops.
