hey, and I'm sick of people complaining that a friendship is "tainted" by slashers, or that slashers ignore friendships, or that slashers must have no friends, or that something about a romantic relationship between two characters must erase any and all friendship they had before and can continue to have! and especially in the context of femslash which is wholly underrepresented in fandom as it is.

seriously tired of people complaining that friendship doesn't get enough attention in fanfic when media is inundated with same sex friendships and virtually no canon gay relationships. if you wanna complain because it's (apparently as upthread says) incest, fine– but complaining that others read them as a gay couple and that totally ~ruins~ their friendship is gross.

that word means flooded. it has absolutely nothing to do with disease what the fuck
