Honestly this is so old I wouldn't be surprised to find more comments about the wank than actual wank.

That said, Israel/Palestine wank has an amazing ability to continue going no matter what and get people incredibly het up. All it really takes is one idiot to fan the flames.

Nah, it is that Israel committing genocide isn't particularly wank-worthy. Its just pretty much accepted now. Sadly we're also all horribly indifferent to Israel doing it.

No, Hamas is bombing Israel because Israel has seized a shitload of land and herded palestinians into tiny packets of land that they so effectively blockade that they have to resort to smuggling to get food and medical supplies. Israel is slaughtering Palestinians because they dare to resist that purge. Religion has nothing to do with it anymore. Also Israel is facing a crippling gas and water shortage in the near future, and the biggest sources of both natural gas and water in that area is underneath Palestinian lands.

Land they seized when they were attacked by neighbouring Arab countries. Countries who now refuse to do anything to truly help the Palestinians other than fan the flames of hatred.

Fucking this. I've only been here for a 7 months, but if there's one topic that gets more wank than religion, its Israel/Palestine discussion. I'm willing to bet that you could say something like "Oh, Israel/Palestine citizens probably fart chocolate sprinkles" and you can guarantee wank will go down because Israel/Palestine is involved.
